The name ''Fresco'' comes from the numeraus frescos inside the mansions. Fresco konaklari has 30 rooms. The hotel currently has 17 rooms. The hotel has two types of room. One of them is cave rooms, have their own naturalcolor. The other is mansion suites, each of them is determined different color.
The mansions, were established at the latter part of the 19th century, consist of four parts. After years of planning, research and study, artisans and craftsman began to work in 2010 to restore and yet modernize these classical pieces of Anatolian architecture without losing any of the wonderful charm.
Fresco Mansions are nestled on the side of Kadı Kale in the district of Kayakapı which provides a glorious view of old and new Ürgüp and is only 300 meters away from the city center, a perfect spot to start for window shopping, sampling local wines or enjoying Turkish Dining.
