The north and south have the largest sandy beaches, whilst the east coast is filled with pretty little coves .Many of the bigger beaches have been claimed by resorts but there are many more to discover off the beaten track .Cala Formentor Beach is found at the most northerly point of Mallorca. Sightseeing & Shopping
Majorca is home to most of the island’s best sightseeing spots. The island is rich in culture and activities with best attractions .Activities like crazy golf, tree top adventure, paint balling and go-karting are some of the most popular. The historic landmark resides within the city centre and is made up of a maze of cobbled streets. These picturesque narrow lanes play host to endless museums, palaces and exquisite courtyards all waiting to be explored.
The island's castles are imposingly beautiful and, whilst some have been transformed into hotels, others remain some of the island's most prominent historical monuments. The most famous are those of the Roman city of Pollentia which has been preserved for almost 2000 years. Stone buildings, courtyards and cobbled paths are all identifiable.
Palma is Mallorca's main shopping hub, with the old city centre offering a lot of boutiques in addition to Spanish high street chains and designer labels.
Nightlife
Majorca and Ibiza are home to some of the world's largest and populat nightclubs, and its nightlife draws a lot of young travellers from all over Europe for summer season.
Those looking for the closest thing Palma has for a strip, you should head down to the Paseo Marítimo on a Friday night for some guaranteed buzzing nightlife, with some famous places like The Galactic Club and Tito's Nightclub.
